I’ve never been one to deal in absolutes, but I’m finding that as I grow older and I date more people and I experience the world more and more, there are many things that I think need to be absolute for me.
You either like me, or you don’t.
You want to be with me, or you don’t.
At our age, who can afford to really be uncertain? When that doubt arises, it’s a warning sign that something is wrong and I take it as a sign to go. I don’t know if it’s wrong or if it’s right…I just know that the price is too high too take the gamble. I absolutely will not leave the one thing that I can’t take back if I know that where I’m leaving it isn’t safe.
In stepping back and looking at the way things are, there is NO way that I can leave my heart where it is and think that it will be safe. If you were a stock, you’d be the WORST investment choice…and so I’m pulling out and investing elsewhere.
This shouldn’t be a surprise…you know me…it’s always been all or none.
